Thank you to everyone who came out to Medjool last Thursday, as we gathered to celebrate Nicole’s birthday and officially launch her DCCC campaign.Not only did we formally launch Nicole’s bid for this important local party position, but we raised money for the campaign, toasted her achievements (so far!) and spent some quality time with our team, supporters, and fellow Democratic activists.What brought us all together? We constantly fight to promote progressive values, and know that Nicole’s voice on the DCCC will further those efforts, while providing the perspective of youth, women, and people of color a strong voice in our party. Nicole has already built a tremendous track record: a lifetime of activism, an endless stream of energy, integrity, and values that inspire us all. E. Nicole Sarabia Rivera has been an active Democrat all her life.She currently works for Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, in her San Francisco district office. Nicole proudly serves as the Congresswoman’s Field Representative and Caseworker.Raised by a single mother, Nicole witnessed first hand her working mother’s struggle to provide for her family.
